Halle Berry:

Roland Emmerich certainly collects the names of his latest disaster film, Moonfall.  The last person to join the cast is Halle Berry.

Last week we learned that Josh Gad had agreed to star in the film, which tells the story of the satellite world of Earth falling into orbit and becoming humanity, as a motley group tries to save us all from the  rocky fate.

Berry is on an astronaut who became a NASA administrator whose previous mission holds a clue to the disaster, while Gad is a quirky genius who initially understands that the moon is falling.

 Emmerich wrote the script alongside Harald Kloser and Spenser Cohen, and hopes to run the cameras in the fall, assuming the proper precautions are in place.
